Alerts

An alert is an emergency notification you can trigger if you're in danger. It is sent to your selected contacts and shown in a special section.

Tap the bell icon on the main screen or during an event. Select the alert type (I need help) and confirm sending.

The alert is immediately sent to all your contacts (if set) via email, and to all registered emergency contacts or event followers through a system notification on their mobile devices.

These are alerts from other users. The same way, others will see your alert, even if they are not your contacts.

So that anyone nearby knows you’re in danger. Triggering an alert implies you need help urgently.

No. We do not contact emergency services. If you are in an emergency and your life or health is at risk, it is extremely important that you immediately contact the appropriate local emergency services and provide them with all necessary information. The alert in the app is meant for your trusted contacts, but it does not replace official emergency services in your country.

It depends on your location and who you want to reach. The universal emergency number in the EU is 112. In the United States, call 911. In the UK, dial 999. Make sure you know the appropriate number for your region.

An emergency contact is someone you know and is expected to be able to contact you or someone else to assist. Once an alert is created, the contact is notified via email and, if they are a registered user, also via a mobile notification. All followers of the event (if the alert was created within one) will also receive a system notification. No notifications are sent to other users.

Yes. If the situation is resolved, tap “Cancel alert” and a notification will be sent out.

An alert is immediate and temporary. A danger zone marks a place where recurring risks have been observed.

In the “My Alerts” section, you'll see all alerts you created or received, including time and location. This feature is under development.
