We hope you'll never need this feature, but we created it to help others locate you in case of an emergency.
Important emergency numbers for the EU and general cases:

Alerts are specific emergency events triggered by clicking the alert (bell) icon in the app header. You’ll see a menu with two types:
I need help, or
Dangerous zoneIf you need help, click the first option:
I need help. You can optionally add a short message and select a danger type:
- Life-threatening
- Health risk
- Other
After confirming, a global alert with your current location will be created.
Want to improve the chance that the right people get notified? Set emergency contacts in advance.
After submitting an alert:
- Emergency contacts will receive an email with your message and GPS location
- Followers will receive a mobile push notification
- A red "SOS" button will appear on the website, revealing your alert
- Your location will be shown on the alert map (in app and web)
We understand you'll want to try it out — for curiosity or functional testing. It’s important to know how this works in case of a real emergency. However, please test responsibly:
- Cancel the alert as soon as you confirm it works
- Don’t create alerts “for fun” — someone might really need help, and your fake alert could distract attention
Test alerts are functionally identical to real alerts. There are no separate "test" modes to avoid accidental confusion. This is intentional and critical for safety.
Once your alert reaches our servers:
- The application screen will lock and show that the alert was successfully sent
- You can optionally activate a siren — helpful to scare off animals or draw attention even without GPS or voice
Your device will remain usable — only the alert screen is locked until cancelled.
