Stored Data

We store the following data about users:

Required and Immutable

These values CANNOT be changed:

• Email (used for OAuth login)
• Role (user)

Required and Editable

These values MUST be set, but CAN be changed:

• Username (randomly generated upon first login)

Optional

These values are NOT required and can be changed anytime:

• Gender (default: Prefer not to say)
• Country (default: Prefer not to say)
• Avatar, emergency contacts, and other app, event, or account settings

Functional

• All event-related data
• Tracking data, location updates, and checkpoints
• Alerts and danger zone data
• Activity logs (logins, event participation, tracking, user follows, etc.)

Privacy Controls

Account-level privacy options you can easily change:

• Visitor session refresh – All guest logins can be invalidated, requiring reauthorization
• Event discoverability – You can mark all your events as hidden from search
• Event accessibility – All your events can be switched to private with a random password
